Elena is a fictional AI Interview Coach

Elena Brooks is an AI persona, not a person, recruiter, employer representative, therapist, or legal adviser. Elena does not know a company's private interview process and cannot predict whether you will receive an interview or job offer.

How AI is used

Interview Kicker uses OpenAI models to prepare a bounded four-topic interview, decide whether one same-topic follow-up would be useful, and produce structured practice feedback. The application validates model output and enforces question, follow-up, reference, and safety limits in server code.

What feedback means

Evaluations describe the relevance, specificity, clarity, ownership, role connection, concision, and follow-up handling shown in your submitted answers. They use descriptive practice levels, not an aggregate numeric score. A skipped question is recorded neutrally and is not penalized.

Feedback is not an assessment of employability, truthfulness, personality, intelligence, protected characteristics, disability, accent, dialect, typing speed, or assistive-technology use.

Your responsibility

AI can be inaccurate, incomplete, or overly general. Review output critically. Never invent experience, qualifications, responsibilities, or metrics to satisfy a suggestion. Use your own judgment and seek a qualified professional when you need legal, employment, accessibility, or other specialized advice.

Provider processing

Minimum necessary context is sent directly from the server to OpenAI with response storage disabled. OpenAI states that API data is not used for model training. Unless approved project controls apply, default abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days. Interview Kicker does not claim Zero Data Retention.
